The water at the pond is full of fish. The main types of fish in the pond are brown and rainbow trout but there are also sturgeon and many types of course fish.
Fish food is available at the pond from special dispensers for 20 pence a handful. The fish love this food and it is best to feed them from the bridge or the jetty.

2 Ducks
The farm has an abundance of ducks that breed during the summer months.
Ducks and ducklings at the pond
Ducks are welcome visitors at the farm but cormorants are not as they kill many fish. The ropes that you see across the pond stop these unwelcome visitors from landing and thus killing fish.
