PIGS
There are always Saddleback pigs on the farm. Usually a sow (mother pig) and her litter of piglets. When a sow gives birth she is said to be FARROWING.
Saddleback pigs have a distinctive black and white colouring with the very best marked pigs having an unbroken white stripe around their front legs. They are a traditional British breed which is once again gaining in popularity as interest in organic and free range food increases within the public.
